Noted writer and president of the Kerala Sahitya Academy M Mukundan has been selected for the third Habeeb Valappad award.
The Habeeb Valappad Smaraka Samiti secretary, R I Shamsudeen told reporters here Saturday that Mukundan\'s novel \'Pravasam\' was chosen for the award from among the novels published in the year 2008.
The award, comprising Rs 10,000, a testimonial and a plaque would be presented to him here on February 14, he said.
