KOZHIKODE: A decision on the fate of Comtrust Textile factory, which is facing closure because of financial problems, is expected shortly, it was announced in the State Assembly on Monday in reply to a question from A. Pradeep Kumar, MLA.Industries Minister Elamaran Karim said in answer to the question raised by the MLA that the government was fully seized of the historical importance of Comtrust factory, one of the remnants of contributions made by Basel Missionaries to North Kerala. The government was keen on taking a decision about its future and its employees, the Minister said in his reply.
