Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajaram Retnakumar Kamath, on Wednesday, permanently exempted two persons, including a Gulf-based businessman and a British national, from appearing personally for trial in the case relating to the drunken assault on a security official and other passengers at the international airport here on February 7, 2009.
The accused are Raman Pillai Raghu Adeekalathu, alias Madathil Raghu, 49, and his business partner, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jalak, an Egyptian-born British national.
