Chettur Shankaran Nair remembered

MANKARA (PALAKKAD): Thennala Balakrishna Pillai, former MP and president of the Chettur Shankaran Nair Foundation, has said that Shankaran Nair, as president of the All India Congress Committee, forcefully expressed his opinion in the party in front of personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Inaugurating the 153rd birth anniversary celebrations of Shankaran Nair at Mankara here on Saturday, Mr. Balakrishna Pillai said that from the beginning, freedom of expression was allowed in the Congress.
