The Priceless Pearl String-A Gift To Sathya Saibaba

A devotee once told in an nostalgic tone to Sathya Sai Baba about his inability to join Him during his Kerala tour. A wonderful occurrence marked the specialty of the trip. The devotee expressed his disappointment, I heard that this particular Kerala trip was wonderful. I am disappointed I was unable to join you

Baba comforted the devotee and asked him to have confidence that he would be able to join Him during the next trip. He then urged him to listen to the wondrous account of the happening.

Baba and his followers walked the sands of the shore in Kanyakumari, enjoying the scenic beauty. The sky showed hues of pink and purple scattered over it. The waves of the ocean presented a silvery pattern intermingled with aqua green and blue. It seemed that each wave rushed forward to greet Baba as they came in contact with His feet.

At that moment, a wave approached Baba in a stately pace, advancing towards Him majestically. When it contacted the feet of Baba, the devotees were astounded to find a pearl garland, with hundred and eight beautiful pearls, strung in a golden thread, that the wave had left at the feet of Baba. It occurred to them that it was one of Lord Varunas way of greeting Baba.

It was indeed a priceless gift of the sea to Baba in a miraculous way. A Sathya Sai Baba miracle again to the joy of his devotees.
