KOCHI: The Kerala High Court yesterday adjourned to March 25 the hearing on a writ petition filed against the Kozhikode District Collectors order directing a hotelier to close down shop following the detection of a hidden mobile phone with camera placed in a womens toilet. In the petition, K.T. Abdul Gafoor, managing partner of the hotel, said the hotel remained closed since March 12, 2010. The Collector asked him not to reopen the hotel until further orders. The petitioner claimed that it was the hotelier who had informed the police of the incident. The Collector and the City Police Commissioner had been approached seeking to allow them to reopen the hotel. The petitioner sought a directive to allow the hotel to function.
