THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of its initiative in implementing Information and Communication Technology-enabled education and e-governance in the Education Department, the IT@School will provide ICT training to two lakh personnel in the State this year.
Seventeen types of training modules have been readied for teachers in primary schools, high schools and higher secondary schools, for Headmasters and Principals, Deputy Directors of Education, District Education Officers and Assistant Education Officers, students, ministerial staff of the Education Department and to teachers who are visually challenged.
Subject-specific training would also be provided to teachers.
Though each category would receive a different module, lessons on basic skills of ICT and on using the Internet would be common to all
