TPURAM: State Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results for this year recorded a 90.72 pass percentage with 4,08,226 candidates becoming eligible for higher studies.
Announcing the results, Education Minister M A Baby told reporters here on Monday that a total of 4.50 lakh students appeared for the examination held at 2729 centres between March 15 to March 27.
While 5182 candidates got A plus grade for all subjects and 17,515 got A grade or above for all subjects.
This years pass percentage was marginally less than last year�s 91.92 per cent. Highest pass percentage was registered in Pala education district with 97.79 per cent while Palakkad district has the lowest pass percentage with 81.08 per cent
Baby said supplementary examination would be held this month itself. This would enable candidates who failed to become eligible for higher studies to improve their marks, he said.
