Complaint against P.C. George

TPURAM: Advocate D.B. Binu of the Human Rights Defence Forum, Kochi, has written to Speaker K. Radhakrishnan and chairman of the House Committee on Privileges and Ethics V.J. Thankappan urging them that action be taken against the committee member P.C. George for making premature announcements about the committees decision on the charge of breach of privilege against Chief Information Commissioner Palat Mohandas. The advocate said George had said in a television interview that the committee would punish the commissioner when understandably there was no decision either by the committee or by the legislature regarding the guilt of the commissioner.
