Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State IT Mission is planning to set up a laboratory for testing government web sites, Rathan U. Kelkar, Director of the mission, has said.
The facility will be established in association with the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT), the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), he said at a two-day workshop on web site quality and accessibility, which concluded here on Saturday.
Mr. Kelkar called upon developers of government web sites to become aware of the standards available for web site development.
The workshop was organised by the mission in association with the Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate
