THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police on Thursday arrested seven persons, including two managers of a private bank, on the charge of trespassing into the house of a debtor and threatening his family.
The police identified the main suspects as Benjamin Wilson of Iravipuram in Kollam and J. Sivaraman of Subash Nagar, both managers of the bank. They also arrested Sathish, Sarath Mohan, Vinod Kumar and Sreejith, all employees of a �loan recovery agency contracted by the bank. City Police Commissioner M.R. Ajith Kumar said the accused trespassed into the house of a government employee at Jagathy and threatened to kill his family on June 7, 2010. The employee had taken a loan from the bank but failed to repay the final instalment in time. The accused persons arrived at his house in a van, barged into the home and threatened his wife, children and elderly parents. Circle Inspector, Thampanoor, S. Anil Kumar arrested the suspects.
