Mohanlal to undergo training at TA unit in Kannur

KANNUR: Actor Mohanlal who has joined the 122 Infantry Battalion, the Territorial Army (TA) unit stationed here, will visit the barracks here this month as part of his week-long post-commission training.

Mohanlal, who has been conferred the title of Lieutenant Colonel, is scheduled to visit the Territorial Army unit headquarters located in the sprawling esplanade that houses both the battalion and the Defence Security Corps (DSC) Centre.

Battalion Commanding Officer Davidson Kolath told The Hindu that all arrangements were being made for the actors visit in

the last week of this month. The actor has already completed his pre-commission training, Col. Kolath said.
