Youths killed in separate accidents



THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two youths were killed in separate motorcycle accidents in the city on Monday. Kiran, 20, was killed on the spot after he fell from the vehicle near Plamoodu on Monday night. His friend Bibin Balakrishnan was injured. Both are residents of Nalanchira.

In another incident, Harish, 22, was killed when his two-wheeler collided with a car at Kalampally on the NH-47 around 7.45 p.m. Harish, a native of Tirumala, was declared brought dead at the Medical College Hospital. Naushad, who was riding pillion, is undergoing treatment in the MCH.

Bus accident

On Monday, 10 passengers of a Tamil Nadu State Road Transport Corporation bus were injured when the bus of Narayana Guru College of Engineering, Kanyakumari, rammed it near Karakkamandapam around 8.30 p.m.

Stabbed to death

A 35-year-old butcher, Karim, was stabbed to death at Kunjalamoodu near Karamana in an altercation over unloading of cattle late on Monday night. Police officials have rushed to the spot.
