TPURAM: Finance Minister Thomas Issac Tuesday told the State Assembly that states share in the total foreign investment in the country during the past ten years was only a miniscule.
Replying to questions, he said it was a matter of serious concern as the state got only less than one per cent of the total foreign investment in the country during the past decade.
He called upon the political parties to evolve a consensus on the developmental issues.
Referring to the Rs 10,000 crore stimulus packages announced by the state last year to tide over recession, he said the government had already given administrative sanction for various infrastructure development projects worth Rs 3,000 crore.
