A 22-year-old man died as he was attacked by an elephant with its trunk during a temple festival near Wadakkanchery on Friday. The deceased was identified as Puthenveetil Kumaran Sreenadh (22). Tension prevailed in the area as the elephant ran amok after the incident. — Staff Reporter
