The Infopark campus in Kochi is all set to augment the IT infrastructure in the State. The Athulya complex coming up on the campus will be ready for allocation in April, the Department of Information Technology (IT) said here yesterday. Situated on 7.1 acres of land at Infopark SEZ, Athulya has a total built-up area of 5.5 lakh sq ft and can house a software development block (with an area of 3.5 lakh sq ft), a cafeteria building and a multi-level car parking.
The total seating capacity of the building is 4,000.The complex is designed to blend intelligent workspaces with state-of-the-art infrastructure, support facilities and lifestyle amenities to create a singular business environment for hi-tech companies. “Athulya will provide world-class working infrastructure for companies seeking a global work environment in Kerala. We have already received enquiries from some well known IT/ITeS companies to take up space here. Athulya will play a key role in the growth of IT in Kerala in 2010-11,” Ajay Kumar, Principal Secretary, IT, said.
