BJP office-bearers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Effecting major changes in the party office-bearers list, BJP completed the process of nominating state office-bearers of the party on Saturday.

Party state president V Muralidharan nominated Palliyara Raman (Wayanad) Rama Raghunandanan (Thrissur) and Syamala S Prabhu (Ernakulam) as state vice-presidents. P M Velayudhan (Ernakulam), B.K.

Shekhar (Thiruvananthapuram) and K R Prathapachandra Varma (Pathanamthitta) have been elevated to the post of state vice-presidents taking the total number of state vicepresidents to eight. Earlier, they were nominated as state secretaries.

M T Ramesh (Thiruvananthapuram) and A P Padmini (Kannur) were earlier nominated as vice-presidents.

A.N. Radhakrishnan (Ernakulam) K P Sreeshan( Kozhikode), K Surendran (Kozhikode) and K.R. Umakanthan (Thiruvananthapuram) are the new state party general secretaries.

K S Rajan (Alappuzha), V V Rajan (Kozhikode), J R Padmakumar (Thiruvananthapuram), C Sivankutty (Thiruvananthapuram) and M Bindu(Palakkad) have been nominated state secretaries. K Krishnananda Pai (Kasargod) is the state treasurer and George Kurien (Thiruvananthapuram) the party spokesman.

A G Unnikrishnan, K G Rajmohan and N Sivarajan have been nominated as the zonal presidents of Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Thrissur respectively.

V V Rajesh is the Yuva Morcha state president. Sobha Surendran is Mahila Morcha president. T Chandrasekharan of Palakkad has been nominated as Karshaka Morcha president.

T O Noushad of Alapuzha is the Minority Morcha president and P K Velayudhan of Kannur the SC/ST Morcha president
