Mental arithmetic contest

Thiruvananthapuram: A national-level mental arithmetic competition, organised by CMA Mental Arithmetic (India) Pvt. Ltd., will be held at the Suryaprabha Convention Centre at Mannanthala on May 8. The training programme developed by CMA, intended at developing the intelligence and imaginative skills of children, is popular in 14 countries, said G. Sunilkumar, the CEO of CMA India.

About 500 children are participating. Gouri Parvathi Bayi, a member of the royal family of erstwhile Travancore, will inaugurate the event
