KOTTAYAM: K G Mohanan Tuesday assumed charge as Additional Rubber Production Commissioner of the Rubber Board.
He will look after the rubber development activities in northern region of the country, Rubber Board sources said.
Mohanan was working as Joint Rubber Production Commissioner in the Rubber Production department.
He is also serving as one of the director board members of State Farming Corporation and Rehabilitation Plantations Ltd and as Chairman of Kanjirappally Rubbers, a trading company promoted by Rubber Board and Rubber Producers Societies, the sources said.
