THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala is setting up a disaster management force along the lines of a Central force formed for the purpose.
Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran, who was inaugurating a meeting of heads of departments convened on Tuesday by the State Disaster Management Authority for finalising a State-level action plan on disaster management, said the specially trained force would be kept under the control of the authority
