Theft bid: Three woman held

TPURAM: Museum police yesterday arrested three Tamil woman on charges of theft attempt at St Joseph �s church , Palayam during , Palm Sundayobservance ceremonies . Lekshmi ,27 ,Vasanthi ,27 and Selvi ,37 , all of them hailing from Palani in Tamil Nadu were the arrested . The police said they were arrested following some devotees ,who spotted them and grew suspicious about the women . After being taken into custody they admitted that they have indeed come for theft.More people are suspected to be associated with the women , the police said.The women will be produced before the court today.
