Fire at sub-treasury office

A fire broke out in the sub-treasury office at Vellayambalam yesterday afternoon causing damage. The fire force which rushed to the spot put out the fire. The Museum police have registered a case and started investigation. According to police forsenic experts and electrical inspector have started investigation to find out the reasons behind the fire. However the police has ruled out any conspiracy behind the incident . Treasury authorities said that the fire did not affect the routine work at the office. But some records are damaged in the fire, they said.
