KOCHI: Ernakulam District Residents� Associations� Apex Council has demanded that the latest hike in diesel and petrol prices should be withdrawn.
A statement from the Council said here on Monday that the price hike would fuel inflation. The statement demanded that the authorities should find a solution to the drinking water problem on Vypeen Island.
It also said that tipper lorries and private buses continued cause several accidents and that action should be taken to contain them.
