KOCHI: Fifty-nine students of the international wing of the Global Public School at Chottanikkara, who appeared for the International General Certificate of Secondary Exam (IGCSE) conducted by Cambridge University in November, have cleared the examination successfully.
An official release said that 32 students secured the ICE certification. Meryl C. Anil emerged the school topper with three �A\' stars and four �A\'s.
The IGCSE has an assessment scheme that is not limited to conventional written papers.
The evaluation is done in Cambridge University, U.K., and the certificates are signed by the Registrar of the varsity, the release said.
Ian Chambers, regional head of the Cambridge International Examinations, visited the school recently.
