KALPETTA: Ruling CPI (M) in Kerala would intensify the agitation to rehabilitate landless tribals in Wayanad District by mobilising support of its feeder outfits, party State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said Saturday.
The CPI-M would intensify the agitation involving party feeder outfits in the coming days by forcing private parties to surrender unauthorised land under their possession, howsoever, influential they might be, Vijayan told a public meeting here in Wayanad District.
\"The real encroachers are those who keep unauthorised land and such owners would be evicted using force,\" he said.
As part of the agitation, over 100 families, mostly tribals, under the aegis of pro CPI-M Kerala State Karshaka Thozhilali Union (KSKTU) and Adivasi Kshema Samiti, had earlier this month occupied parts of Harrison Malayalam Plantation Ltd\'s tea estate and land held by JD(S) MLA M V Sreyasmkumar, son of JDS leader M P Veerendrakumar.
