KOCHI: The youth is now fully hooked to television these days, with the medium opening up lots of career opportunities. For those who want some chiselling of their talents to excel on screen, a three-day training is coming up.
A media school in the city, School Of Media Studies (SOMS), along with Adage Events, is organising the workshop on screen acting, anchoring and modelling. The workshop will be held from August 13 to 15 at Hotel Park Central, Kochi.
SOMS is run by a group of professionals from the film industry, under the guidance of renowned filmmaker Kamal.
The workshop, which will be led by eminent faculties from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, is meant to polish the acting skills of young talents and help them to develop innovative ideas. The participants will also get a feel of being in front of camera.
