Good show by Thiruvananthapuram schools

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CBSE and ICSE schools in Thiruvananthapuram have performed creditably in the Class X and XII examinations, the results for which were announced on Wednesday. In the AISSCE examinations, St. Thomas Central School bagged 100 per cent result in science, commerce and humanities streams. A total of 277 students appeared for the exam, out of which 168 secured distinction. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, secured all pass in the humanities stream. In the commerce and science streams, the school bagged 99 per cent and 98 per cent pass respectively. Loyola School bagged a pass percentage of 98.

Out of the 74 students who appeared for the examination from Sainik School, 29 secured distinction and 37, first class. In Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, 21 got distinction and 19, first class. As many as 15 students of GR Public School secured distinction and 16, first class.
