KOCHI: The Range Officers of the Forest Department will go on mass casual leave on July 5 demanding action against culprits who attacked their colleagues.
The officers also plan to surrender their firearms to police stations after July 15 as a mark of protest against the delay in booking the culprits.
The decision was taken at the general body meeting of the Kerala Forest Range Officers Association here on Sunday.
Four range officers were attacked in different parts of the State during the last three months. However, no one was arrested in the cases, association leaders said.
