KALPETTA: The National Highway Transport Protection Committee, a peoples movement against the ban on night traffic on National Highway 212, has decided to intensify its agitation. An agitation declaration convention was held at Sulthan Bathery on Tuesday.
In the first phase, the committee will conduct an evidence data collection drive on June 20. The data submitted by green movements in various courts was wrong. A peoples rally and a public meeting would be held in Sultan Bathery on June 26. A team of delegates will visit Delhi on June 27 and submit memoranda to the Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and the Union Ministers concerned.
If the issue is not solved within a month, the committee will take out a march to Parliament on July 25 to press its demand
