THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The pavilion of Indian Railways has bagged the first prize in the Central government sector at the 47 {+t} {+h} All India Trade Fair organised in connection with the Thrissur Pooram Exhibition 2010.
The static running model of Integral Coach Factory and the bio-diesel model from Railway Loco Works, Perambur, were the highlight of the pavilion. Senior Public Relations Officer P. Narayanan received the award from former Speaker Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA, at a function in Thrissur on Monday.
Speaker, K. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the valedictory function and Devaswom Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran presided over the function.
