THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Motor Vehicles Department will make information available to motorists through SMS from Wednesday. This is part of the governments �m-governance project to provide information to citizens �anytime anywhere through mobile technology.
Vehicle details, application status, State Transport Authority (STA) permit application status, allotted registration number of vehicles, vehicle tax, vehicle number booking range and status information will be made available through SMS. This is in addition to the online service provided through the website of the MVD (www.keralamvd.gov.in).
