Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Agriculture Mullakkara Ratnakaran has said that the government has finalised a multi-pronged strategy to promote cultivation of medicinal plants.
He was inaugurating a one-day workshop on �Medicinal plants as industrial crops in the hands of cultivators,� organised by Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) and the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Research Station, here on Tuesday.
Mr. Ratnakaran said a pilot project to promote homestead cultivation of medicinal plants would be launched across the State in the year 2010-11.
