MALAPPURAM: The Kottakkal unit of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) distributed its Henry Giessenbier Foundation scholarships at a function held at A.K.M. High School, Kottur recently. Five academically excellent but economically poor students won the scholarship of Rs.2,000 each. Raghu Raj, JCI zonal vice-president, gave away the scholarships. Basheer Kurunian, school headmaster addressed the gathering.
