Thilakan ready for talks

KOCHI: Thilakan, actor, has said he is ready for conditional talks with representatives of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) to resolve the disputes with the association. Mr. Thilakan said he had received a letter from AMMA asking him to appear before its disciplinary committee. But, he said, he needed to talk to a few persons before taking a final decision on this. Asked whether he would cooperate if Sukumar Azhikode, social critic, was the mediator, Mr. Thilakan said he was yet to take a decision in this regard.

The veteran actor had earlier alleged that a super star was responsible for his exit from Christian Brothers, director Joshies latest flick. AMMA had termed his allegations as baseless.
