Maharaja\'s college alumni organise get-together

KOCHI: Around 50 old students of Maharajas College, Ernakulam, who graduated in 1960, gathered at their alma mater on Sunday to recall their younger days and to relive those moments.

Those who arrived for the first ever Golden Jubilee meet at the Maharajas College, were drawn from various walks of life.

The mood of the meet was set by N. V. John, formerly a professor with New Man College, Thodupuzha, who sang for his friends Mohammed Rafis Chahoonga meh tuhjhe from Dosti.

It was a reliving for a few hours what they had experienced in their graduation years as was evident from the joy with which the old students greeted each other and listened to the progress they had made in life.

Their teachers in the Maharajas of those years M. K. Sanu, M. Achuthan, M. K. Prasad and K. J. Cleetus were those who once again addressed their old students.

The get-together of the old students of the 1960 batch ended with a lunch.
