In his inaugural address at the national seminar on software engineering organised by the Department of Computer Science at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat), Dr. Jalote said that the countrys science, technology and engineering sectors have still not reached maturity in any level and the aspiration level of Indian researchers is very low, which is keeping them where they have started.
