VARKALA: A Keralite who had spent 15 years in Saudi Arabia devoid of any chance to visit his homeland because of lack of money and diseases, died here at his native land as soon as he arrived after he fainted at railway platform.
Nazar (52) is a native of Navayikkulam. He reached Mumbai with the help of some Malayalis� associations and close aides, and from there reached Varkala by train around 9.30 am.
Though railway police came to his rescue and took him to Chirayinkeezhu Taluk hospital his life could not be saved. He died at 2.30 pm.
He is survived by his wife Shailabeewi, son Muhammed Jahsin and daughter Jinsy Beegam.
