Protest mounting against four-lane corridor project
KOZHIKODE: The vigilante committee that is opposing the plan to build a four-lane corridor on the Kinalur-Malikkadavu route has alleged a misleading campaign to drum up public support for the project was going on even though the satellite town project for which the four-lane road project was originally mooted had been abandoned. The committee alleged that the four-lane road project would be used as an excuse to take over land and properties of farmers and other poor people. The four-lane project was proposed to facilitate the satellite town project at Kilanur that was proposed to be established by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) with the support of the Malaysian government
