TPURAM: People of Thiruvananthapuram have extended their full support to former Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor in connection with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise row and termed his exit unfortunate and a set back for Kerala.
Tharoors resignation is a setback for Kerala. He just wanted a team from Kerala in IPL and that could have helped in the development of the state. If he had taken the team to any other state, it wouldnt have harmed him personally, said A Arun.
Many thought that his lack of experience in Indian politics led to his resignation
