TPURAM: Train services Thrissur- Ernakulam sector was restored in the wee hours Thursday. Some long distance trains are running late Thursday and some local trains stands canceled. Railway authorities informed that services are expected to regain normalcy by Thursday evening.
Trains are now operating using both the tracks in the sector and the present delay is a continuation of the re-scheduling of timings which was implemented on Wednesday.
Normal traffic got effected as a goods train de-railed at Puthukkad, near Thrissur on Tuesday. A good section of the track was damaged in the accident and repair works where in full swing.
