THRISSUR: About 8500 litres of spirit was seized at Kodakara in Thrissur district Wednesday and one person has been arrested in this connection.
The contraband was being transported to Angamaly from Palakkad without valid documents, the sources said.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
