KOCHI: On Monday, six more air-conditioned premium buses will join the fleet of seven Volvo buses that the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is operating in the city.
Two of them will operate on the Poothotta-Aluva route through Menaka, two on the Fort Kochi-Infopark-Aluva route through M.G. Road and the other two on the Willingdon Island-Infopark-Aluva route through Padma, said the District Transport Officer, G. Jayaraj.
Nine low-floor non-AC Asok Leyland buses meant for Kochi have arrived in Thiruvananthapuram and are awaiting permits. They will begin service by month end. Three of them will ply on the Chottanikkara-Aluva route; three from Panangad to Aluva and the rest three from Poothotta to Njarakkal, all through Menaka
