Rain occurred at isolated places in Kerala and Lakshadweep. The chief amounts of rainfall reports in cms are: Perunthalmanna 5, Piravam 3, Vaikkom and Munnar 2 each, Thodupuzha, Mavelikkara and Minicoy 1 cm each. The highest maximum teperature is appreciably normal in Kozhikode district. Kannur reported the maximum temperature of 35 degree celsius.
Forecast valid until the morning of May 19: Rain or thunder showers will occur at a few places in Kerala and Lakshadweep, outlook no significant change, the met sources said.
