Kasaragod school tops youth parliament contest

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: C.J. Higher Secondary School Chemnad, Kasaragod has won the first place in the State youth parliament competition 2009-10 conducted by the Department of Education and Institute of Parliamentary Affairs. Education Minister M.A. Baby and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M.Vijayakumar, on Tuesday, said that GHSS Kaniyambetta, Wayanad, won the second place and G.V.HSS for Girls, Kasaragod won the third place. The first prize winner scored 77.25 marks out of 100, second prize winner got 74.5 and third prize winner 73.75 marks. Some the other winners and their marks are: Government HSS, Konni, Pathanamthitta (67.25), Marthoma HSS, Pathanamthitta (66), St.Marys HSS, Kottarakara (63.75), and Vimala Hridaya HSS, Kollam (59.75).
