Kozhikode: More M. Tech. courses will be sanctioned in government engineering colleges, Education Minister M.A. Baby has said.
He was inaugurating two buildings for the Electronics and Chemical Engineering Departments at the Government Engineering College at West Hill here on Saturday.
The Minister said the government would take steps to improve research facilities in its engineering college. Mr. Baby also released an e-journal at the function.
The West Hill college started functioning in 1999 in the hostel building of the government polytechnic there. Work on a ladies hostel and civil block would begin soon as funds had been made available from the Malabar package this financial year.
