PALAKKAD: Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan has said that terrorism and militancy can be fought only with the cooperation of the people.
Inaugurating the seminar on �National security and role of people, organised by the Community Police project of the Town South police station and the Deya Charitable Trust at Town Hall here on Saturday, Mr. Sankaranarayanan said: �Terrorism is a world phenomenon affecting people of every village, state and country. Innocent people are killed everywhere by terrorists and militant groups.
�This is the biggest challenge the world now faces and everybody should be concerned about it. Even if all forces in our command think that they can fight terrorism and militancy, it is not possible without the support and cooperation of the people,� he said
