ALAPPUZHA: Ten people, including students, were injured after a boat owned by the State Water Transport Department lost control and rammed the jetty where it was supposed to stop.
The incident occurred at Chettisseri Jetty near Kainakary around 9 a.m. when the Krishnapuram- Kavalam S-18 boat was nearing the jetty.
All the injured were discharged after being administered first aid at the Alappuzha General Hospital.
