KOLLAM: A.V. George, head of the department of Earth Sciences and Environment Science, attached to the Irinjalakuda Christ College has, been selected for this years State-level Best College Teacher Award.
The award has been instituted by the Professor Sivaprasad Foundation.
The best college teacher award carries a cash prize of Rs.10,001 and a trophy.
Ceremony on 15th
The award will be presented to Dr. George by Additional Chief Secretary K. Jayakumar at a function to be held here on June 15 to commemorate the 16th death anniversary of Prof. Sivaprasad.
Prof. Sivaprasad was the former principal of the Kollam SN College
