Bhavan\'s Royal Institute of Management

The PGDM programme offered by Bhavans Royal Institute of Management [BRIM] and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) is equivalent to MBA. In fact it is appropriate to mention that MBA is equivalent to PGDM, as almost all reputed management institutes in India including the Indian Institutes of Management and other autonomous institutions are offering PGDM. If the ultimate test of a professional course is employability then PGDM is far ahead of MBA. Industries prefer PGDM as the curriculum of autonomous B-Schools are always contemporary and training in such autonomous B-Schools is more rigorous and industry oriented.

Founded in 2002, Bhavans Royal Institute of Management [BRIM] is one among the first two autonomous business schools in Kerala to offer the PGDM programme. It is one of the nine B-Schools owned by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, all over India. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a premier global intellectual, cultural and educational movement having its headquarters at Mumbai. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has 32 CBSE schools and a B-School in Kerala. The Kochi Kendra which sponsors BRIM has 7 CBSE schools in Kochi itself.
