KATTAPPANA: Steps to reclaim the land for setting up the Munnar township will start immediately, Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran has said.
Inaugurating a special revenue office and six special offices in Munnar on Monday, the Minister said that 1,026 acres would be acquired for setting up the township which would have a hospital, school, public market and other utility services. This would raise the status of Munnar as a tourist destination that would provide all quality services to its visitors. Munnar would become a model township meeting the basic needs of the people residing there, the Minister said
